The LA Bioscience Hub will be at this year’s Urban Land Institute (ULI) Urban Marketplace, and we hope to see you there!
The LA Bioscience Hub will co-host the roundtable, LA Bioscience Corridor: Repositioning for Innovation, with Nicholas Greif from the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development, Business Team. The roundtable will showcase the Corridor’s exciting investment and development opportunities. You will learn about:

• Available properties in the Corridor,
• Major projects and investments coming to the Corridor,
• The City and County’s commitment to nurture the local industry and the Corridor, including the County’s recent multi-million dollar investment, and
• Why you should invest now

The LA Bioscience Corridor is home to leading research universities, medical facilities, and a highly skilled workforce. The key to unlocking the immense potential for bioscience in East LA is real estate investment. The need for commercial wet lab space exists and continues to grow. The LA Bioscience Corridor has an abundance of industrial land that is primed for repositioning and redevelopment into new bioscience facilities that support jobs and the boost the region’s economy.

The tour on October 9, 2014 featured prime industrial properties in the LA Bioscience Corridor. Representatives from industry, government, and universities were present to share news and information on the area.

We have events scheduled over the next several months and into 2015, including the groundbreaking of BioSpaceLA (the future LA County/Cal State LA Incubator), a StimULI Breakfast, and more real estate tours. Stay tuned for details on these upcoming events.
