RECOGNIZING THE POTENTIAL FOR BIOSCIENCE IN EAST LOS ANGELES

Urban Land magazine - from the Urban Land Institute - features LABH and HATCH in an article about the realities and opportunities of real estate development in the LA Bioscience Corridor.

The article highlights the importance of ready-to-use lab spaces and necessary stakeholder engagement in order to cultivate bioscience innovation. The Corridor is home to some of the last remaining parcels of industrial land in Los Angeles. Throughout the region, industrial land is being rezoned and converted into residential uses, but this area in East Los Angeles is prime for welcoming the next wave of manufacturing and production.

One such space is HATCH - from real estate investment partners Agora and ASG - which is currently under construction and features the adaptive reuse of an 20,000 sq. ft. abandoned furniture factory and warehouse in the Corridor. HATCH will provide flexible, multi-tenant lab and office space for life science companies.
